Refund Policy

All cancellation and substitution requests must be made in writing and can be emailed to cpma@pestworld.org. Refunds will be made on the following schedule:

Before Dec 20. = 100% Refund

Dec. 20 - Jan. 10 = 75% Refund

Jan. 10 - 24 = 50% Refund

Jan. 25 - Feb. 11 = 25% Refund

After Feb. 11 = No Refund 

No Shows = No Refund

Can’t attend but want to send someone else? Sure thing! Substitutions within the same company are permitted before the start of the conference and onsite. A written request is required and can be emailed to cpma@pestworld.org. The individual submitting the substitution request is responsible for all financial obligations (any balance due) associated with that substitution. Badge sharing, splitting, and reprints are not permitted.

ACE Testing (Separate registration through Entomology Society of America required

In today's increasingly complex and highly specialized job market, credentials are important. You may have the skills to do the job, but how do you convince potential clients and employers you are the best one for the job? Demonstrate your professionalism in the pest management industry and take your career to the next level. The Associate Certified Entomologist-International (ACE-I) is a certification program created by the Entomological Society of America for those who work outside the United States. This exam requires a separate registration from conference registration. If you are interested in taking the ACE-I exam at PMC 2025, please ensure you are registered and approved by ESA before February 20th, 2025. To register, contact ace@entsoc.org. Inspecting Structures for Wildlife Damage

Proper identification of vertebrate pests is essential for effective control. Montana Department of Agriculture’s Vertebrate Pest Specialist, Stephen M. Vantassel, will be speaking on the principles and tactics of inspecting for vertebrate pests in buildings. The training will emphasize mindset, procedures, needed and optional equipment, signs of birds, raccoons, squirrels, and shrews, and record keeping. Stephen will provide an easy way to interpret scat along with an exercise on using your cell phone camera. Finally, Stephen will outline how to handle those situations where a certain diagnosis is not possible.

Latest Research on Odorous House Ants and Their Management 

Samantha Dilday, Washington State University Entomology Department, Washington State, USA 

Odorous house ants are among the more challenging structural pest ants to manage, largely due to their biology and colony structure. Colonies have multiple queens, allowing them to quickly grow in numbers and overrun large areas in a short period of time. In this session, hear the latest research on this challenging ant to learn how science is working to give PMPs the upper hand on this challenging native species.
