In past years the Ontario Ministries of the Environment and Natural Resources have provided the structural pest control industry with a mail out of the current Peregrine Falcon Recovery sites with a request that bird control products such as 4-amino pyridine and strychnine impregnated corn not be used within a 7.5 km radius of these sites and that alternative methods be considered.  The 2008 Pesticide Memorandum is on the Ministry of the Environment Web site and the document number 6748e can be located by clicking here or at http://www.ene.gov.on.ca/en/publications/forms/index.php#PLC under Pesticide Licensing and Certification.
